Common names: Scarba gum, White stringybark

Distributed in: India (Oceania and S.E. Asia)

Distribution overview: Found in Australia on gentle undulating country and hills near the coast, to mountain slopes and escarpments adjacent to tablelands but not inland of the ranges. Wide range through eastern New South Wales except the far north, and eastern Victoria except in areas where summers are too cool. Favours warm humid to sub-humid climate. Altitude range, near sea level to 1100 m.
